Revamping my Marathon Plans

Life likes to throw you curveballs sometimes.  I never expected that in the span of one day, I would have gallbladder surgery and be sent home to recuperate.  I had to re-learn what I could eat and ease my way back into exercise.  I've been training for a 5K with Omron's Team GOSmart to get back into the swing of things. As far as the surgery is concerned, I am completely healed now (Hallelujah!).

I'm not sure when I will do the marathon.  I need to look at the upcoming races a few months out and pick a good time.  Spring would be best, I believe.  The freezing cold of winter would probably trigger my asthma even more than usual, and summer would be too hot.

I might even go foreign for my marathon. We're planning on living in Europe for a few months, so it would be amazing to explore a city this way.

As soon as I figure it all out, I'll post my new plans.  In the meantime I am trying to eat better and do some exercise.  I will still triumph in the end.

Hey Nessa, I am so glad to hear you're recovered from the surgery. What an amazing journey you've been on.

I felt compelled to stop by your Super Hot Chica blog 'cause I just saw your latest Facebook profile picture...and you look like you've lost weight! Yay! You are an inspiration, my friend! Keep up the good work!
