It's been rather hectic and blah lately. I was sick for half a week, which totally threw off my exercise. Food got a little wonky also. Don't you just hate when that happens?
Then Monday came. I woke up refreshed and ready to take the world on again. I went downstairs ready and eager to work. I turned on my trusty laptop, looked at the wireless indicator to find....nothing. The TV was also out. I became rather grumpy and worried.
Now, it might not seem like something to get too distraught about. However, I work from home. Online. Mondays are my busiest day since I have to write up my Mystery Monday post (guess the tree or shrub!), write my newsletter and more. Between work, research and more, I practically live online these days.
I had to skip some appointments so I could hunt around the city for Internet (go library!). It wasn't until Wednesday that things got back to normal and I could relax again.
Somehow despite everything, I still lost half a pound. I'm happy with that. By next week I should have less than 100 pounds to go.
I did manage to snag another free race entry for June 5th. I think I will do it as a 10K - my first one ever. That will be an adventure for sure.
