Marathon Training Week 4

I did great last week and got all of my required sessions in.  I even went to the gym the night after doing a 5k (more about that in the next post) just so I could do more miles to get a total of 5.

My mileage continues to rise.  This week's schedule:

  • Monday - Rest
  • Tuesday - 3 miles
  • Wednesday - 2 miles
  • Thursday - 4 miles
  • Friday - Cross-train (swimming?) or rest
  • Saturday - 6 miles.  Whew!
  • Sunday - a walk in the park
Life is great and happy that everything is going so well.  I just need to work on getting my speed back up. I did do the 5k at a 15:36 pace, which is good.  I did some jogging too and my knee didn't have much problems at all.  

What are your exercise plans for the week?

This week I'll do some Step aerobics, probably some Wii Fit Plus, and maybe some Wii Sports Resort. And maybe a few walks and bike rides.
