I've been noticing something very cool happening with a pair of soft drawstring capri pants I wear all the time. I now have to pull the strings hard to get it close to being tight enough. It's so nice to feel like I'm really making progress. I can't wait until they are practically falling off me.
Inspired by this event, I decided to try on some of the clothes in my "skinnier" stash. I specifically was looking for my size 16w olive cargo pants. I managed to get them on, buttoned and zipped. They were extremely tight, and I won't be wearing them for real yet. The fact that I even got them on, though, is wondrous.
Today, Wii Fit told me I was 229.9 pounds. So exciting to be out of the 230s (I know it's barely, but I'll take it!) AND that means I only have 99 pounds to go until my goal of 131 pounds. It's such a relief to not have a triple digit goal hanging over my head anymore.
As for the Beck Diet - Day 3 is all about eating while sitting down. I was thinking about it today. I do tend to eat my main meals while sitting down, but I'll grab snacks while I am up in the kitchen and eat them right then. I did it today, in fact, when I grabbed some apple chips out of the dehydrator. When you sit down to eat, it means you are paying more attention to what you are eating.
I am so excited today - I just love the fact that it's starting to feel like it's really going to happen!
