Lost 10 pounds last week!

I was stuck at 242 for a few weeks. It was quite frustrating. Even a half marathon didn't really make it budge much. (To be fair, I didn't eat carefully or exercise much for the week after so I could recover.)

I was also frustrated since the half marathon left me beat up. My hip hurt when I walked, and had huge blisters on my feet. I was so sore I just gently shuffled everywhere for the first few days after.

After about a week and a half, everything generally cleared up. I also started working a temp graveyard shift, where I spent hours doing fast-paced can packing at a food storage place. Between this and dealing with a problem, I didn't eat much either.

Over the past week, I've watched 10 pounds melt off. It's so weird. The Wii Fit told me I now weigh 231.9.

Since I have several hours available daily where I can exercise, I can possibly lose weight somewhat fast. I will keep my calories around 1750 for now, since I'll be working out so much. I consult with a friend who is a nurse to make sure I'm not going to do something crazy.

I have just about 100 pounds left to lose. It's getting there!

I am right there with you. I just lost 10 pounds but it;s going slow but I know that's the way to go. I wish it would faster but I know I just have to continue what I am doing and it will come off. Good luck on your journey. I could lose another hundred as well but I am aiming for 20 more.
